What will your soul sing?

The name I practice healing under, Hara Song, was chosen to grow into.

That is becoming clear as I find a truer voice of my own, through the practice, teaching and learning that shapes the crucible in which my bodywork is refined.

I have known I’m ever travelling towards a deeper embodiment in the intelligence of the hara or guts or womb space, but I wasn’t quite sure what the song part of my name would become in reality.

Now I have been working directly with the voice: mine and others’. Supported by talented healers (including the wonderful Jennifer Bell) and under the tuition of Katherine Ukleja: world renound Cranial teacher, new territories are opening to me. I have been in awe at the anatomy; the resilience and the power of the throat, and the meaning of a clear channel from Self to sound.

The neck, throat and larynx are prime areas to get stuck in patterns of constriction, shock and shame. Freedom in the throat and particularly the capacity to make comfortable, unrestricted sound or song contributes profoundly to our joy & wellbeing (which means: our health).

All of us have a birth right and a yearning to sound our true sound. And to be heard and held in our uniqueness. When our own sound is clear, we can resonate in community more powerfully and our relationships have vibrancy.

Right now I feel the turning of the year toward growth, at the Vernal Equinox the root and stem of what will appear in this cycle begins to show. What is taking form for me and my practice is a devotion to the unique flow and beautiful flowering of each being’s singular voice.

The gift I wish for all is: joy at being simply me.

What new life is taking shape in you? Will your soul sing out in this coming year, or do you need a little help to hear your inner voice?
